Pop-Tarts in College

Aloha, I haven't spoken in a while! I've been busy with college for the past 5 weeks, getting settled and studying. As a Biology major, all I do is homework and study! I currently have been living in Honolulu, Hawaii and going to school at.... Well I wasn't going to say in my blogs, but I've decided to go ahead and tell. I'm a Biology major at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I absolutely love my school so far and it's so beautiful here! So unlike the desert back at home. Of course I still miss all my family and friends.
College has been good so far, I'm taking 15 credits, in the Biology Club, and been making some friends. I'm having an interview tomorrow for the Marine Options Program and I'll see how that goes. Did I mention how BEAUTIFUL it is here??? Sure there is lots of rain, but it's green, 80 degrees all the time, I can see the ocean from my roof!! Although I miss home, I'm glad I picked going here!
If anyone has questions about Hawaii or college, go ahead and comment below. :D
I'll honestly will try to update my blog more often. I also have another blog which you can see on my profile. It's for the nerds like me, who love Asian dramas. :P

Just Wanted to Check In...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while... well, I guess it really doesn't matter, I don't think anyone reads my blog, haha! I just wanted to post something. :D
I'm leaving for Hawaii in 10 days, so next week is going to be HECTIC. My sister and I are going to Magic Mountain on Sunday, Tuesday I'm going to a friend's house, and next Saturday I'm hanging with lots of friends. Gotta pack all next week as well! I can't believe I'm leaving California! I'm going to miss everyone, my family and friends. California period. D;

Beauty Update

Lately I've had the chance to try out new products because of MegsMakeUp.com which is a website dedicated to beauty. I say go on to it!!!

Because of points I've earned, I've received two packages with free products. The first one I received was with Napoleon Perdis lipgloss in Protege, Ganache for Lips in Lemon Mousse, Gabriel Organics Marine Lip Treatment, a bar of soap that is Tea Tree Mint, and thickening shampoo! The lipgloss is wonderful, it has a mint scent and flavor, very pretty color of coral. The color first frightened me but it looks different on my lips and is very pretty! The Marine Lip Treatment is WONDERFUL! It works!!!!!!!! It's worth $20 (I don't think I could spend that much on lip balm though) and keeps your lips looking wonderful. So if you're desperate and your lips have been chapped lately, I advise buying it! It's organic too. :D The lip balm in Lemon Mousse smells and tastes like lemonade. I kind of like it, but won't carry it in my pocket because I don't want it to melt. It does last for a long time though. The soap I got smells very good but I haven't used it yet. I won't use the thickening shampoo because I already have thick hair!

My second package contained China Glaze nail-polish in Bad Landing, two samples of EOS Pomegranate shaving cream, another Napoleon Perdis lipgloss in Protege, Sheer Cover foundation powder in Beige (I think), and Leilani Halakahiki Lotion. I love the nail polish!! It is a red with a sort of pink sheen in it, perfect for the summer. It isn't a fire-truck red at all. I've tried the shaving cream and love the smell! Plus my legs are still smooth after two days! The Sheer Cover foundation is a perfect color for my skin... but I don't wear foundation. I've been trying it on and think that it does work for my nose. (I have this problem of having a red nose... o.o ) The lotion smells GOOODDD! It is meant for kids (the packaging tells all) but it smells really good and perfect for the summer. Keeps my legs moisturized all day too.

College?! In TWO Months?!

I'm starting college, I'm starting college, I'm starting college!!! In two months. I can't believe it! I feel like I'm actually going back to high school for another year! Craziness! I do admit that I'm kind of scared, I'm going to be completely alone. And I don't mean just alone, VERY alone. I won't know anyone in the whole state!!
The pressure and the realization that 'doomsday' is coming is really starting to hit me... I just got my housing contract for my dorm a couple of days ago. I also have my classes too... Plus my dad let me go shopping for clothes last week. :/
I think the thing that is worrying me the most is living in a dorm and being by myself. I have to make new friends and become an 'adult'. I gotta get a job as well... I feel like I just want to be in fifth grade again.
You're probably wondering where I'm going, but I shouldn't say what college. I'll just say I'm moving from California to Hawaii. So I have the huge Pacific Ocean separating me from my friends and family. >.< I truly am getting out of the town I've grown up in and leaving it all behind. Haha, my dad used to think I wouldn't go to college out of state and here I am!! Off to Hawaii!
I'll try to keep updating this blog, with whatever I can think of, probably just nonsense.

My life is a bundle of stress right now. -.-
Know why? If you didn't already know, I'll tell you.
1. I'm near the end of my senior year of high school.
2. I start college in August. (4 months!!!!!!)
3. I'm moving to a different state to go to that college... A state that contains absolutely nobody I know.
4. I have a bunch of projects due for classes... Majorly for my Marine Biology class. >.>
5. My sister nags 24/7.
6. Friend problems... of course.

Hey, know what is missing from this list? Boy troubles. And that is because this year I didn't really care about guys. I really didn't want to get attached to someone when I'm going to leave for university soon. :D

Nail Polish! :3

Recently I've been painting my nails a lot (due to the warmer weather & me being random). The only problem is that I have no clue what color looks good on me and I'm short on cash. The only nail polish that I know for sure that I love and looks alright one me is neon lime green. :D

I love wearing that color on my toes. Looking at OPI nail polishes, I really do love their website and the nail polish colors.

The only colors that really interest in this set is the NL B38 and NL B32. Maybe the NL B43 too...

The Hong Kong collection = PRETTY! I love all the colors except the gold one. Any opinions on this collection and/or OPI nail polish and/or nail polishes in general?

Prom

So this was my prom dress! My prom was a couple of weeks ago, it took me forever to blog about it! The prom was at the Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles... Yeah, the hotel from the movie 'Prom Night'! I wore this dress and I felt pretty! ^.^ It was about $80 from Windsor. The dress might of been strapless but it didn't slip at all. (Thank God!) I did buy high heels but unfortunately I got them too big. D: So I had my shoes off for most of the night.

That is what my head looked like for the night, haha! I was happy with my hair! :D

My Passion for Chococat & Hello Kitty

It may be childish of me to like Hello Kitty... But I don't care. I really love the different characters from Sanrio, especially my all time favorite character, 'Chococat'. I've recently bought a Chococat key chain from Sanrio. So cute. :D

I also got a compact mirror with him on it, I couldn't resist! Inside it has a mirror on each side, however I've had problems with it and I knew I would. It was pretty cheap and it's plastic. The mirrors weren't glued strong enough to the sides but I easily fixed it with Gorilla Glue.

I have a couple of other things with Chococat on them, but not that much. Not as much as I would want. I've seen so many cute things with the character on them that I want them all!!!
I don't only just love Chococat, I love Hello Kitty too!! I've recently gotten a Hello Kitty license plate frame, for the longest time I've had this nail polish with Hello Kitty on it but I never used it, a blanket, two t-shirts, a calculator, earrings, and some other things. I really do want a cute Hello Kitty necklace (or Chococat but I think H.K. would be best) but I never find one at the store. However I find them online!!!

Oh so cute!!! But so expensive, I'm not even joking! This pretty necklace costs $1,770... I love it! No way I'll ever be able to get my hands on this but one could hope! Well thanks for reading, stay tuned for more! ;D
